Ella joined the team at Dorset Equine in June 2016 from an equine ambulatory practice in Somerset. Upon graduating from Bristol University in 2012, and after a short stint in mixed practice in South Wales, she completed an equine internship at The Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital before going on to undertake a thoroughbred stud season in Newmarket. During her time in Newmarket she had the privilege to work with some of the top breeding stallions and broodmares in the Northern Hemisphere and it is since then that she has developed a particular interest in reproductive and foal medicine, something that she hopes to expand on in her career.
Ella is pleased to be working back in Dorset near to her family and enjoys being able to ride out her auntie's horses who hunt and point-to-point. Currently, Ella is in the middle of completing a certificate in Advanced Equine Practice but when not in work enjoys riding and exploring the Jurassic coastline with her labrador, Digby.
